Description
Looking for that luxury vacation home where the whole family can come and stay -- yet walk, bike or take a short boat ride into Sandpoint? You've found it here at 9 Buck Run. This classy, newer home is beautifully furnished and thoughtfully appointed. Located on Fry Creek (a small inlet also known as the Sagle Slough), you are a *very* short paddle or boat ride to Lake Pend Oreille. Fry Creek provides safe boat-dock harboring and is an *outstanding* fishing location for the lake's small & large mouth bass, perch, crappie and Pend Oreille's famous bullhead catfish.
On a lake that's 43 miles long, being SO close to town that you can walk or easily bike across the Long Bridge is optimal for the families and groups of friends vacationing together. Make sure you stop by the Farmer's Market on Wednesday or Saturday mornings during the late spring and full summer season and enjoy the wide variety of excellent cuisine and hand-made arts located in the restaurants and shops of town.
9 Buck Run features brand new furnishings in a clean, inviting and warm style. A living room with vaulted ceilings and large timber trusses, frame soaring glass windows that connect the beauty of the outdoors to the mind's eye. Dining and kitchen areas open to a large, covered outdoor patio for entertaining and al fresco feasts. Three main level bedrooms are dressed with luxury linens and an upstairs *bonus* bedroom has two Queen beds, THREE custom built-in bunk beds (6 Twin beds total), and a sleeper sofa -- ideal for siblings, cousins, grandkids or a larger ski group where everyone has their own bed!
New landscaping includes a green grass yard, rock terracing and a path which leads to a small beach and a private dock. The large hot tub sits right on the back deck overlooking the yard and water!
At this price point, 9 Buck Run is one of the best value homes for family reunions and winter ski retreats. Includes hot tub that is drained/cleaned/sanitized/refilled between every reservation, as well as central air conditioning for those hot summer days. The perfect home and location for any season. Book today.
**NOTE: Each year, on September 18th OR the 3rd Sunday in September (whichever is later), the Army Corps of Engineers begins dropping the water level of Lake Pend Oreille until ultimately reducing it by a total of 10-12 feet. Around the 4th week in September ALL boat docks and boat lifts on the lake become inaccessible and unusable, as the water completely recedes back from the shoreline leaving just bare ground beneath the docks. The agreement with the Army Corps of Engineers states the lake level must be restored to full pool level each year no later than July 4th, however, the last 10+ years the lake water has been at full pool level around the 2nd or 3rd week in June.
**NOTE: This property is equipped with a privacy-safe noise monitoring device. The device measures volume levels (decibels) only, and can alert the property manager if a certain volume threshold is detected. The device does not and cannot record audio.

This is a wonderful house. We used it for a multi-generational spring break trip and it met all our needs. The house is clean and open with a great, well-supplied kitchen. The second floor kids area is the best Ive seen and we will be trying to replicate some version of it at home! If you have not been to Sagle/Sandpoint, its worth noting that the train noise is no joke. The trains run 24 hours a day and the horn just echoes straight off the lake and in to your bedroom. We got used to it by the end of the trip but it was hard on the small kids in the group. Other than that, the house cant be beat. Airy, open layout and a beautiful outdoor setup with great furniture throughout. The Lake was still drained so we werent able to take advantage of the dock or beach but the set up looks professional and ideal for a sunny weather visit.

Super nice and well appointed property. It was perfect for our family. Very comfortable for adults and kids. Kelle was able to get us in late in the day within twenty minutes of booking the home. Very good communication and to be honest, everything was so well done and ready we had no concerns or issues. In fact, it was better than expected. This was a blessing after our hotel screwed up our reservation. Will love to deal with her, and properties under her management again.

Probably one of the best properties I have stayed at. We take winter vacation every year, this year being a larger group of 10. The home had plenty of room for everybody. Everyone there mentioned how well stocked the home was. They didn't skimp on anything, if anything they exceeded on amenities needed. Cannot recommend this property enough.

This is a BEA-utiful property right on a spit of the lake in Sagle. The location is far enough from downtown to feel isolated, but close enough to have easy access to food, shopping, and Schweitzer Mountain. The home has a typical mountain house feel with cathedral ceilings, exposed beams, and a warm and cozy environment. The views were amazing and the home overall was perfect for our group. Highly recommend for all types of groups from large families to friends gathering for a long weekend. The property is well suited for all!

One of the most beautiful AirB&B homes I have stayed in!! Our Bible study moms group was able to get away and feel fully recharged! The sleeping arrangements we so comfortable. The views and the peaceful mornings were 10 out of 10! I loved that they had fun activities available like cornhole, a fire pit, hot tub, paddle boards, canoes, and more! We used it all! I highly recommend this location and hope to come back soon!

Very nice Lake House. The location is beautiful and the area and lake offer opportunities for great activities. We used the house for a week-long family reunion and we really enjoyed ourselves. The house was comfortable, spacious and well stocked. It came with lots of lake toys (kayaks, paddle boards etc.) that allowed everyone to participate at the same time. The house is on a river so it was quite peaceful. The backyard offered beautiful views on the river and the mountains...a perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of City life. The fire pit and adjacent hot tub offered us a great spot to while-away the evenings while catching up on life. Kellee and her team were very friendly and very easy to deal with. The Sagle - Sandpoint area is gorgeous. The lake is very large and offers a number of opportunities for activities. We rented a pontoon boat and had a great time puttering around, looking at the nice lake houses. We even saw a castle! The area however does have a lot of rail traffic. One of the bridges was under construction and it was really interesting to see the detail of how they build bridges in the lake.
