Take in the warm summer weather and unforgettable views from this beautiful waterfront home, located on Murphy Bay of Lake Pend Oreille. Home boasts 3 total bedrooms (including studio apartment above the garage), 3 full bathrooms, and a private dock with 8,000lb boat lift AND double jet ski platform lift (both new for Summer 2021). Rental of this property includes use of 2 kayaks. Invest some extra time sitting on the large deck overlooking the sweeping scenery of Lake Pend Oreille, with views of Sandpoint and Baldy Mountain in the distance. The large kitchen is fully-stocked with everything you’ll need to cook meals for your family and friends. The main home consists of a main floor master bedroom with a King-size bed, and a lofted bedroom that has (2) Double-size beds and (1) Queen-size bed. The living room has large windows looking out over the water, as well as a wood stove guests can utilize for those chillier days.
The detached garage has a full studio apartment above it, with a King-size bed and Twin-size bed, and is available to summer guests only, as it is winterized during the off season. The studio features a well-appointed kitchen and full bathroom, as well as it’s own internet with WiFi, so you can stay connected!
Located exactly 5 miles (9 minute drive) from the heart of downtown Sandpoint, this home is close to everything, but far enough out to feel the total privacy. There are many restaurants in Sandpoint, with some of them being right on the water so you're able to boat right to them! If you're looking to stay on the water AND be close to everything Sandpoint has to offer, book this home for your next trip to North Idaho!
**NOTE: Each year, on September 18th OR the 3rd Sunday in September (whichever is later), the Army Corps of Engineers begins dropping the water level of Lake Pend Oreille until ultimately reducing it by a total of 10-12 feet. Around the 4th week in September ALL boat docks and boat lifts on the lake become inaccessible and unusable, as the water completely recedes back from the shoreline leaving just bare ground beneath the docks. The agreement with the Army Corps of Engineers states the lake level must be restored to full pool level each year no later than July 4th, however, the last 10+ years the lake water has been at full pool level around the 2nd or 3rd week in June.

This place is amazing, very cozy, comfortable, and has nice views of the lake. The many decks and sitting areas were nice, and the dock was great for swimming. Would definitely stay here again

This was a perfect spot for us. Rustic cabin on a calm part of the lake. Our private dock access to the lake was wonderful and it was an easy 5-10 minute drive into Sandpoint for groceries, shopping and restaurants. We will be back!

This place was so wonderful for our family of 4. There was more than enough space and we didnt even have to use the carriage house. You cannot ask for a better location if you are looking to enjoy some time by the water, and near Sandpoint. The kayaks were a great addition and we used them daily. It feels remote and quiet but not far away from grocery stores or restaurants. I would love to stay here again and wouldnt hesitate recommending this place to anyone. Thanks again.

You can expect this home to be exactly as pictured with the exception of a few bonusesthey added window AC units and a queen sized bed upstairs in the loft along with the two doubles. The home was the perfect place for us to stay! The hosts have every detail accounted for, from a fully stocked kitchen to the toiletries in the restrooms. The home was impeccably clean and felt just like home. We spent most of our time on the amazing deck area with the chairs, dock, grass area, kayaks and fishing poles. What a great place to be outdoors. I would highly recommend this home to anyone, and we hope to be back next year!!

We loved everything about our stay in this rustic cabin. The rental is very clean and comfortable. We loved the large kitchen space and found it to be very well stocked for all of our cooking needs. The apartment over the garage is an amazing retreat and again was extremely well appointed. We enjoyed coffee on the lower deck every morning and ate all of our meals on the upper deck. Thank you for sharing this amazing property with our family.

We had a great time at the property on Lakeshore Drive! The location to Sandpoint is excellent. Use caution when taking a left towards town. The room over the garage is gorgeous! The house needs some updating but was perfect for our family.

We rented the house and stayed there with 6 kids and 4 adults. Kids had a great time swimming and playing on the dock. Access to amenities is good. Sandpoint is nice and close. House was clean and spacious. We also took the kids to Silverwood for 2 days. Travel time to Silverwood is about 35 mins, so it's nice and close as well. We are from northern Alberta, so the hot temperatures were a bit much for us and it would have been nice if the house had air conditioning, but overall our stay was great!

Place was as advertised. It was nice to have separate living area for my Dad and his wife above garage and they could come down to the main house and hang out for meals and family time. Dock was great to hang out on, and I caught a fish my first cast; a nice 2 lb Small Mouth. Would be great with a boat. We had paddle boards and that was super fun. I would stay here again if in the area with lots of family.
